Website Usage: Passive Collection of Information
MHQ attempts to improve the usefulness and convenience of its website(s) by collecting and storing information during visits. This information is used to compile statistics regarding Site activity. During these visits MHQ does not collect or store personally-identifiable information such as: name, address, telephone number or Social Security Number (for U.S. residents). Website Usage: Active Collection of Personally-Identifiable Information
MHQ also actively collects information from you when provided for business purposes so that www.mhq.com is able to accurately complete your transaction. Some information may be unique to the user and is personal including: name, addresses, telephone numbers, company name and addresses, business type, title or occupation, product(s) purchased and credit card number. Changes to Privacy Policy
MHQ reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy at any time. Modifications will be posted at least 10 days prior to its effective date and will only apply to information collected after the effective date.

Nexus
MHQ’s main office is located at 401 Elm Street, Marlborough MA 01752, unless otherwise indicated, and is a Massachusetts corporation. Sales are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the U.S. Government and any other foreign laws in place at the time of the sale. Changes, modifications or revisions to sales orders will not be valid unless agreed upon by MHQ and the Buyer. Terms and Conditions set forth in the Buyer’s Purchase Order do not alter the Terms and Conditions described here.
Information Accuracy
Every effort is made to ensure accuracy of information included in this Site at the time of publication but is often dependent on information provided by manufacturers or other sources. MHQ makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding any supplied information and will not be held liable for any damages, consequential damages, or misrepresentations resulting from use of this information. If a mistake occurs we will correct it as soon as possible and reserve the right to rectify the error at any time. Please notify us of errors. Note that some images may be representative and are included for display purposes only.
Pricing
MHQ’s discounted prices are shown in U.S. Dollars and usually refer to the price per unit. Higher quantity discounts are available – be sure to contact MHQ Customer Service with your inquiry. All shipping costs are determined as FOB Marlborough MA and the customer is responsible for all freight/shipping costs.
Every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy at the time of publication. MHQ reserves the right not to sell at a price below its cost. If a pricing mistake occurs we will correct it as soon as possible and reserve the right to rectify the error at any time. Please notify us of errors.
Acceptance of Terms
MHQ reserves its right to accept or reject any and all sales orders. MHQ reserves its right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Updates will be posted to this page.
Payment Types
MHQ accepts cash, checks, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) as forms of payment. MHQ also accepts orders on Open Account with pre-approval.
Payment Terms
Payment by a form other than Open Account is due at time of shipment. Payment on Open Account is due according to the Terms set forth in the Account Agreement.
Tax Exempt Status / Sales Tax
Sales Tax will be collected for shipments to customers in MA and CT. Agencies eligible for tax-exempt status must provide written authorization at the time of order or account set-up.
Sales Restrictions
MHQ reserves the right to prohibit sales of certain items to unauthorized individuals or agencies. These include: Body Armor, certain Logo Gear and Logo Clothing and specific equipment reserved for federal, state and municipal contracts. Prior to ordering please be sure to review the product’s application as well as any national, state or local codes or regulations regarding its use or installation. Under each restricted product, particular instructions will be given on what procedures need to be met in order to purchase such items.
Sales outside the U.S. are restricted due to contract obligations.
For public security and protection, MHQ requires that orders for product customization that identifies any law enforcement entity, agency, department, name or ranking be accompanied by:
- Written, signed authorization on the department’s official letterhead;
- Photocopies of an officially-endorsed photo identification card.

Special Orders
MHQ offers the industry’s widest assortments from the best manufacturers. However, if you need a product that isn’t advertised please give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Order and Shipment Acknowledgements
Web Orders and Shipments will be acknowledged by automatic e-mail sent to the e-mail address submitted at the time of account set-up.
Order Complete Status
With our vast inventory of in-stock items, MHQ makes every effort to ship your order complete. Occasionally, stock-outs may occur. The complete order will be charged at time of checkout. Partial orders will be shipped separately unless you specify “Ship Complete” at time of check-out. Partial or Ship Complete orders will be acknowledged by automatic e-mail sent to the e-mail address submitted at the time of account set-up.
Order Tracking
Orders shipped by UPS may be tracked on www.ups.com using the supplied Tracking Number provided in your Shipment Acknowledgement.
Order Cancellations
Order cancellations prior to Shipment Acknowledgment must be communicated to MHQ as soon as possible and may be subject to handling and restocking charges. Order cancellations after shipment are treated as Returns – see Returns section.
Shipping / F.O.B. Point / Hazardous Goods
Unless otherwise noted or restricted, all shipments are sent UPS Ground Service from Marlborough, MA 01752 and any shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Truck shipments are F.O.B. Marlborough, MA 01752 or from the point of origin for a drop-shipment. Oversized or expedited shipments by air or courier are billed accordingly.
Please note that shipment of hazardous goods is tightly regulated. In some cases, air freight is not allowed (aerosols, certain chemicals) and the item(s) must be shipped Ground freight. In the event you select a shipment method at check-out which is not allowed your order will be revised and you will be informed.
Damage Upon Receipt
MHQ ensures that every item is carefully inspected and packed. Occasionally, damage during shipment to you may occur. Please inspect your package upon receipt and immediately report any damage to the shipper.
Returns and Exchanges
MHQ stands behind every product we sell and we will work to your satisfaction! We will repair or replace any item that proves to be defective in workmanship or material – see Warranties section.
Returns: Occasionally, the wrong product is shipped and must be returned. In the event the mistake is due to MHQ we’ll replace the wrong item, including return shipping charges, at no cost to you or issue a credit. In the event you’ve ordered the wrong product or changed your mind and need to return an item, we ask that you do so within 30 days. The returned product must be in original, unopened manufacturer’s packaging and include all accessories, attachments, instructions and warranty cards. You are responsible for return freight and a 25% restocking fee.
Exchanges: Products returned for replacement / exchange (due to size or color) will not be charged a restocking fee but return freight will be your responsibility.
Custom or Special Order products may only be returned if the error was due to MHQ.
Warranties
MHQ keeps copies of manufacturer's warranties on file and will represent you in the event of a Warranty Claim. Be sure to contact MHQ and not the manufacturer. We will replace or repair defective items in the manner that will minimize service disruption to you.
MHQ disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages or defective product claims that are due to intentional misuse or application. MHQ’s liability in all events is limited to the purchase price paid.
Force Majeure
MHQ shall not be liable for delays or damages resulting from Acts of God, governmental orders, labor disruptions, insurrections, wars, material shortages, inability to procure or ship, obtain permits or licenses, or any other circumstances beyond MHQ’s control in the usual conduct of its business.
