Defying the standards of conventional lidar, Kustom's compact, battery-operated ProLaser III offers a new level of performance and features not available elsewhere. Using advanced software and a superior optics design, the unit provides quicker target acquisition and a beam only 3 feet wide at a range of one thousand feet. The ProLaser III's selectable environmental mode minimizes the range-limiting effects of poor weather conditions. You'll experience improved operation in rain and snow — even when aiming through glass or a windshield. It has pinpoint accuracy you can rely on. With ProLaser III, speeders simply don't have a chance. The ProLaser III's sleek, compact, ergonomic design weighs just over 3 pounds (with the battery). The unit features a forward swept handle that reduces arm and wrist fatigue, allowing officers to comfortably target vehicles without the use of a shoulder stock or supporting rest.

• The Pro-Lite+ Lidar is the smallest and lightest lidar speed detection and monitoring device on the market while offering an exceptional level of performance and target accuracy for police and other law enforcement officers. These speed detection devices are different than radars because they use light waves instead of radio waves to measure the target.
• The Heads-Up Display (HUD) is designed to provide 1:1 viewing, without magnification, for precise vehicle targeting, detection and less eye strain. When using the HUD you'll see the target area and surrounding traffic for positive target identification, as well as an illuminated aiming reticle to help you pinpoint your target.
• The Pro-Lite+ Lidar uses the HUD technology for range applications up to 2,000 ft. and also provides full speed tracking history, while maintaining a simple, easy 4-button format.

• Innovative technology for improved performance Many of the operational anomalies of moving mode radar have been eliminated in the Directional Talon. With a new antenna design, the unit has longer targeting range, ability to select approaching or receding targets only, elimination of EMI and RFI concerns and greatly reduced patrol speed combining and shadowing.
• Simple, easy operation with less controls As with the entire Talon II series, this unit has TruTrak and Smart Search patrol speed software, but with the new antenna and directional capability, it eliminates the need for the "slower" button.

This is the “Ruggedized” SpeedLaser. The Model “R” kit includes the laser, battery handle, charger, auto coiled power cord, carry bag, manual, and one year warranty. The R model comes with the same heads-up display and rear LCD screen described above for the S model.
